Maple are pleased to be supporting the FTA Safety in Logistics Conference 2015, to be held on Tuesday 9th June at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.
The annual event is chaired by James Hookham, FTA’s Chief Executive and focuses on the very latest safety issues with the transport industry and discusses the latest key industry initiatives, best practice and enforcement focus areas.
During the conference the subject of safe trailer coupling and vehicle runaways will be discussed, which has been identified by the HSE Logistics Strategy forum as a key issue and poses significant risk to drivers and others in the vicinity. Supporting this key health & safety issue, Maple will be showcasing their safe trailer coupling device, SafeConnect and will be on hand to answer any questions surrounding this much debated issue.
In addition, Maple will also be displaying SafeLoader, a vehicle safety solution that prevents early departures from the loading bay, which is another high risk area for fleet operators to contend with.
