Maple are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Partnership Award at this years’ Motor Transport Awards, for the publication of the CART (Cargo and Road Transport) Security Guide!
At Maple, we believe passionately that working collaboratively is key to combatting cargo crime to deliver a safer and more secure industry, an ethos shared with all the partners who worked on this project. Together we produced a series of security guides to raise awareness of cargo crime issues and offer advice on how to avoid becoming a victim, which are distributed to the industry free of charge.
The security guides were produced in partnership with industry experts, representing the RHA (Road Haulage Association), DHL, RSA (Royal Sun Alliance) Insurance Group, Motorway Buddy and NaVCIS (National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service); Since launching the guides have been well received with thousands of copies distributed directly to the transport industry, where they are often used as training aids and reference tools.
We are excited at the prospect of battling it out in a competitive category, alongside esteemed company, where we hope to emulate the success from 2013, when SafeConnect was recognised in the Innovation category. Whatever happens on September 2nd however, in what has been a turbulent year or so, we look forward to raising a glass to our peers and celebrating the massive role our industry has played during this challenging period.
