Maple is excited to announce that we will be extending our official sponsorship of Ben Luxton for the 2024 season, as he returns to the Pirelli National Superstock Championship onboard the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP.
After a fantastic Championship last year, which saw Ben finish P8 overall, he will once again be competing in the BSB Superstock Championship, running his own team. BSB is considered the leading domestic bike competition, attracting the best riders, frequently reaching speeds of up to 200mph!!
Ben said, “I am extremely happy to be back in the Superstock championship! After a strong season in 2023 running my own program, we head into the 24 season in great shape and ready to work. I would like to say a big thank you to Maple Fleet Services for their continued support into 2024 and I’m excited to bring them on our journey!”
The opening round for 2024 will see teams making a first visit to Spain’s Circuito de Navarra. This beautiful circuit has undergone a significant number of improvements in recent years and is now one of the best venues for motorsport in the country. We can’t wait for the action to get underway on 20th and 21st April!
Director Christina Maple-Connor said “We are delighted to be able to support Ben again this year, an opportunity to continue Maple’s involvement in racing, a sport we are so passionate about! Ben is local to Stockport and so our sponsorship is the perfect fit and it was great to see how well he progressed last season, finishing in the top 10 of the Championship! I have no doubt that we will be in for more nail-biting action and I personally can’t wait for the first round to get underway.”
Alongside his Superstock commitments, Ben will also be racing on board a Honda in the World Endurance Championship this year. The first round of FIM Endurance World Championship takes place at Circuit Bugatti – Le Mans, France on 20th April.
As the name suggests the race is all about endurance, lasting 24hours, with riders completing laps of the 4.185km track, facing a very demanding circuit layout, as well as shorter daylight hours and colder temperatures during the night and early morning.
Rounds two and three will be held in Belgium and Japan before the Championship returns once again to France for the final round in September!
We wish Ben every success in all his Championship races! Make sure you don’t miss any of the action from the upcoming season. Sign up to our social channels for full updates.
